OUR CAMPS
Creative Writing Camp
July 5-8
10:00am-3:00pm
Teens will meet with a best-selling author to work on different forms of written expression. This includes short stories, essays, and graphic novels. At the end of the week, each teen will receive a custom book filled with all of their writing.
Arts Camp
July 11-14
10:00am-3:00pm
Each day, teens will work with a different artist to create works of art in an array of mediums, including crafting, fabric art, and the dramatic arts. Teens will then be given the option of displaying their artwork at Dutchess County Pride Center's offices until the end of August.
Science Camp
July 25-28
10:00am-3:00pm
Teens will work with different scientists each day, learning about biology, chemistry, forensic science, and more. Teens will work on scientific experiments daily. Proper safety measures will be put in place for all experiments.
Dungeons & Dragons & More
August 8-11
10:00am-3:00pm
Teens will play a rotating daily assortment of RPG and tabletop games, featuring Dungeons & Dragons.

GENERAL INFORMATION
There is no fee for participating in any of these camps.
Lunch will be provided daily. If teens cannot or choose not to eat what is provided for lunch, please make sure they pack a bagged lunch. Water and healthy snacks will also be provided.

We have the right to refuse admittance to any camper who is acting in a threatening or dangerous manner towards other campers or themselves. This includes verbal displays as well as behavior both physical and online. All campers must sign a contract of expected behavior in order to participate.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS
We understand that every person has a different comfort level with masking indoors. Therefore, we will allow the removal of masks only if every person, including staff, feels comfortable doing so. Those who wish to wear a mask during camp sessions will take precedence over those who do not. We will ask you to leave if you refuse to put on a mask if asked.
