Meeting at Madame Brett Park Parking Lot
560 South Avenue
Beacon, NY 12508
We will be taking a leisurely hike/walk along the Madame Brett Park Trail- a mile of gently sloping, gravel-surfaced trails leading to the dramatic waterfall and tidal marsh; a short, narrow woodland trail provides access to the marsh observation platform. A boardwalk along Fishkill Creek allows universally accessible exploration.
From Madame Brett Park Trail, there is a short walk connecting to Dennings Point Trail- the connection does leave the park and we will have to walk along the road. Dennings Point Trail is an easy to intermediate loop trail along the shoreline of Dennings Point. The trail never gets close to the water, however there are short access trails to see the river.
Total hike approximately 4 miles.
